Votes are counted and awards are, unfortunately, still in production. Here is the list of all the winners. Hopefully Damon is gonna do an article on this later on.

There is already a list of all stories that are eligable for the 2002 awards. All new stories are automatically eligible for nominations. If I forget to put your story in the list within a few weeks, please let me know. The latter list can be viewed here. Maybe this year we will have a few categories added and removed just to make it a bit more easy to handle. I imagine, voting was though for all participants. Nevertheless there is one big winner who gets to take home a grand total of no less than 6 awards. Let's get started with the winner list. (All winners can get the award, an exclusive jpg-file, by mailing me.)

Best Crossover Author: Lindsay Birss, for 'Catchy' (SH/X-files crossover)
Best Crossover/Action Author: Boo Rogue Amazon, for blending Buffy and Shirley.
Best Drama Author: Boo Rogue Amazon, for a real description of a school shooting.
Best Romance Author: Faith, for impressive work on the Shirley/Matt relationship.
Best Mystery Author: MacGyverMagic, for writing challanging mysteries.

Best Hero and Overall Character: Marcus Quinlan, created by Boo Rogue Amazon.
Best Villain: Mr. E, created by HA. Gotta love his evilness.

Best Showdown: Boo Rogue Amazon, for the pain Molly went through in 'Misplaced Killer'.
Most Original Story: 'The Case of the Telephone Murder' by Fredy Bauckhage. The story that featured the most unique way to kill someone.
Best Story: The Colombine Conundrum, by Boo Rogue Amazon. Good facts, real feelings, full of suspense.

Special Award 1: Jessica Soedirgo, for her insightful monologues.
Special Award 2: HA, for his series featuring ENIGMA and the Stranger's Club.

Congratulations to all the winners! Please show yourself on the messageboard and say a 'thank you'-speech to your readers. The less fortunate authors don't have to be sad. There are gonna be new awards this year. And since Boo isn't around much anymore everyone else stands a better chance now. So get writing!
